Nintendo Wiis flying off Bronx shelves

THE BRONX - Bronx parents hoping to surprise their children with a Nintendo Wii Christmas morning may struggle tracking the game system down.

White Plains Toys ?R Us manager Jose Nieves says the game console is flying off the shelves this holiday season as had been expected.

?We?re getting as many Wiis as we can in stock,? says Nieves. ?We did our research long and hard throughout the year. We bought heavy on items we anticipate to be the most popular.?

Nieves says other popular gift choices like Guitar Hero can be found at the toy store as well, and only the Nintendo Wii is between shipments. A delivery of the game consoles is expected to arrive within a few days.
