NORWOOD - As of this morning, more than 1,000 Con Edison customers are still in the dark. Crews are working to restore power, but residents in Norwood are frustrated that downed power wires haven't been repaired yet on their street.

Hurricane Irene knocked down power lines on East 207th Street, even knocking trees onto cars, taking wires with them. Neighbors are upset Con Ed has yet to repair the downed power wires, and want something done before someone gets injured.
