NEW YORK - A group is planning an anti-Beyonce rally in New York next week in response to the singer's "Formation" song.

The group "Proud of The Blues," whose name references the NYPD uniform, posted the rally on Eventbrite. The posting urges protesters to wear blue and to be respectful.

It is unclear who is behind the protest group.

Beyonce performed the song "Formation," whose video features imagery that is representative of Hurricane Katrina, the Black Panthers and touches on the issue of police-involved shootings of black youths, at the Super Bowl.

Former Republican New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani later said on "Fox & Friends" that it was "outrageous" that Beyonce used the Super Bowl halftime show as a "platform to attack police officers, who are the people who protect her and protect us."

The protest is scheduled for Feb. 16 -- the same day tickets go on sale for Beyonce's tour -- at 8 a.m. outside NFL headquarters on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
