The city's ban on sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces was set to take effect on Tuesday.

THE BRONX - Mayor Michael Bloomberg's ban on sugary drinks is set to go into effect on Tuesday.

Many Bronx businesses say they think the ban on sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces will hurt their bottom line.

Dunkin' Donuts shops around the borough were handing out fliers this weekend explaining that they will no longer be able to sweeten large beverages.
