NEW YORK CITY - The City Council may vote in favor of more lenient parking restrictions in the Bronx.

In an effort to relieve the frustration drivers feel from paying fines, the City Council would introduce a five-minute grace period before getting ticketed for muni-meters and alternate side parking.

If passed, two other bills would require written notification of changes in restrictions and a waiting period of 30 days before new rates are seen.
