NYPD: 3 pedestrians struck, 2 in serious condition on Grand Concourse

THE BRONX - Police have confirmed that three pedestrians were struck by a car on the Grand Concourse.

Witnesses say the driver continued to move after hitting the first pedestrian, hitting two more before crashing into a fence.

Authorities report that two of the pedestrians are in serious condition.

Victims have been taken to St. Banabas, Lincoln and Lebanon hospitals.

Relatives of 50-year-old Elizabeth Colon say she was one of the victims struck by the car.

Police say the unidentified driver has been arrested and will face charges.
