MOTT HAVEN - The NYPD is cracking down on drivers who double park.

Police officers have been handing out fliers as part of "Operation Move Along." Police say double parking obstructs the view of other drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. They also say it can cause accidents.

Drivers caught double parking will now be ticketed and fined $115. Delivery drivers disagree with the policy, as they usually rely on double parking.

The crackdown will take place through March 16.
