NYPD hosts gun buyback in Fordham Heights

FORDHAM HEIGHTS - The NYPD and the Bronx District Attorney are hosting a gun buyback event today in the Bronx in an effort to get firearms off the street.

The gun buyback is being held at the Fordham Evangelical Church at 2430 Walton Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The NYPD is paying up to $600 for guns that are turned in.
