NYPD identifies suspect in Crotona Park shooting

The NYPD has identified the suspect wanted for a shooting that left a man injured near Crotona Park in February. Police say 22-year-old Aris Santos

Aris Santos, 22, is accused of shooting a 24-year-old victim in the torso on East 169th Street before running off.

CROTONA PARK - The NYPD has identified the suspect wanted for a shooting that left a man injured near Crotona Park in February.

Police say 22-year-old Aris Santos was seen in surveillance video. He is accused of shooting a 24-year-old victim in the torso on East 169th Street before running off.

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, and has since been released. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
