NYPD memorial unveiled in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON D.C. - The badges of 29 members of the NYPD who aided in the Sept. 11 rescue efforts went on display in Washington, D.C. today.

The memorial includes the shield of an officer from the Bronx.

Supporters of the Sept. 11 health care bill say they hope the display will garner support for the act.

The House of Representatives has already passed the bill, which would provide health care and compensation to those who worked in the toxic dust from Ground Zero.

The Senate still needs to vote on the bill.
