NYPD: No explosives in vehicle under Throgs Neck

THE BRONX - Police say no explosives were found in an unoccupied car left running beneath the Throgs Neck Bridge. The bridge was closed around 6:15 a.m. this morning while police investigated the vehicle. It has since been reopened. The unoccupied car was a 2009 Nissan. Drivers attempting to cross the bridge were incensed at being late to work, but say they were relieved no explosives turned up in the investigation. AP wires contributed to this report.
