THE BRONX - New NYPD numbers are shedding light on the number of crimes committed inside Bronx schools.

According to recent statistics, between July and September, officers in the NYPD's School Safety Division arrested 14 Bronx students compared to 63 arrests citywide.

During the 50 school days recorded, officers also issued 70 summonses to students in Bronx schools, which is the highest number in the city.

The NYPD recorded 123 non-criminal incidents in The Bronx, which is also the highest number in all of the five boroughs.
