THE BRONX - The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers is stepping up its efforts to try and nab the suspects involved in a rash of armed livery cab robberies.

The group is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in several cases since the beginning of this year.

The most recent incident was last Wednesday when a livery cab driver was slashed and robbed after picking up a passenger on East 181st Street and Southern Boulevard.
