THE BRONX - Hundreds of Bronx residents came out today to protest at the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church.

The protestors were fighting for an end to what they call corporate greed, as well as better schools, a higher quality of life and better pay.

Many students at Samuel Gompers High School took part in the rally to save their under-performing school from being closed.

Demonstrators say they plan to continue their protest by occupying Fordham Plaza every Saturday at noon.
