NEW YORK - (AP) - Occupy Wall Street is one-month-old after aweekend of rallies and arrests around the world protestingcorporate greed and excess.

Monday marks the one-month mark for a movement that started in asmall Manhattan park in the shadow of the World Trade Center and ashort walk to Wall Street. Across the country in cities large andsmall, it continues to grow, with crowds numbering in the dozens,the hundreds and the thousands.

So far, $300,000 has been donated to the movement. It is beingstored in a bank.

Many of the largest of the weekend's protests were in Europe.Activists around the country said the protests energized theirmovement. President Barack Obama referred to the protests atSunday's dedication of a monument for Martin Luther King Jr.
