Officer accused of attacking teen won't face charges

THE BRONX - The police officer accused of attacking a teenager inside a Bronx deli will not be facing charges for the alleged incident.

Jorge Cartagena claims an officer threatened to write him a summons for riding his bike on the sidewalk on Westchester Avenue last Friday. 

Cartagena says a few minutes later, while inside a nearby deli, the officer's partner overheard him comment on the encounter and attacked him.
