THE BRONX - An police officer from The Bronx who was shot on Thursday is out of the hospital.

Juan Pichardo was shot in the leg in The Bronx during an attempted robbery at his family's car dealership.

Officer Pichardo was released from Jacobi Medical Center today.

The married father of three was shot when two men pretending to be interested in buying a car walked into the auto mall on Boston Road.

The two suspects who entered the dealership, and the two others who waited in a get-away car, are facing multiple charge, including attempted murder.
