THE BRONX - Police have identified 27-year-old Daniel Henry as the driver killed when lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a home Sunday.

Officials say the incident happened around 6 a.m. when Henry drove a silver BMW into a house on South Oak Drive.

The car jumped the curb and careened through a metal fence and bushes while hitting multiple vehicles along the way.

Henry was pronounced dead at the scene minutes after the accident.

Some neighbors say they stepped in and tried to help. Witnesses at the scene and family members said that it appears as though Henry may have been shot prior to losing control of the car but police have not confirmed that.
