THE BRONX - Investigators are combing through the mess left after a fire yesterday in Morris Heights.

Officials say the fire began in a three-story building on 1711 Popham Avenue. Emergency officials say it may have started on the first floor and spread to the rest of the building.

No one was injured in the fire.
