Officials raise reward for sex attack information

THE BRONX - ? Officials are now offering $12,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the sexual attack of a 79-year-old woman in Westchester Square.

Police say the woman was attacked inside her building elevator near Benson Street Monday morning.

The reward is a combination of funds from the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation, NYPD and personal money from Sen. Pedro Espada Jr.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
