Officials still investigating cause of Soundview building collapse

SOUNDVIEW - Officials with the FDNY, Office of Emergency Management and other city agencies are continuing to investigate a building collapse yesterday that left one man dead.

The building collapsed early yesterday afternoon on Stratford Avenue while a crew was working on building renovations.

The victim, identified as 51-year-old Muhamed Kebeh, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center after the collapse, where he was pronounced dead.

Kebah leaves behind three children.
