THE BRONX - Police say they have identified and charged a teenager who is accused of assaulting two police officers during a dispute.

Officials say 16-year-old Kenric Cowan attacked two female officers who responded to a report of a family dispute Friday on the Grand Concourse.

Authorities say the teen tried to leave when officers arrived, and when they told him to stay put for the investigation, he allegedly pushed one of the officers and injured the hand of another.

Cowan was eventually arrested and is now facing 12 charges, including felony assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
