Angry parents say they don't want their kids transferred from P.S. 340 to P.S. 310.

KINGSBRIDGE - Overcrowding at a Kingsbridge elementary school is forcing some kindergarteners to relocate.

Dozens of outraged parents say they received a letter Thursday that about 20 kids will be transferred from P.S. 340 to P.S. 310. Parents complain that the new school is too far away and is splitting up siblings three months after the beginning of the school year.

The Department of Education (DOE) says the youngsters will be provided with bus service to their new school starting next week.Education officials say the students may return to their old school next year depending on space availability.
