Overgrown trees have some BX property owners out on a limb

THE BRONX - Some Kingsbridge Heights property owners are going out on a limb to avoid city fines due to overgrown trees.

The trees along Earnes Place clog the gutters, hit against windows and cause cracks in the sidewalks.

Officials from the city Parks and Recreation Department says that it conducts routine pruning every year on a portion of city trees in each community board.

One property owner on the street says he has been calling them for over two years, with no results to show. News 12 The Bronx placed a call to the Parks Department and an official said they are working to address the long tree branches.
