FORDHAM - Bronx residents had a slow, slippery commute Wednesday morning as snow blanketed the area for the ninth time this winter.

The overnight flurries left about an inch of snow on the ground, backing up traffic in Fordham for many drivers. Other commuters cautiously braved the icy sidewalks and subway platforms.

Many residents say they hope this is the last time they see snow this season.
