Autism is a developmental disorder that can be present from early childhood. It affects nearly one in 68 children and is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the United States. It can also cost a family an average of $60,000 a year.

Students who performed in the variety show made the decision to pursue their dreams on stage so that they could help support those with autism pursue theirs.

This is the first time the school has held a recital to raise funds. Students and faculty say they would definitely do it again next year.
