THE BRONX - It's Halloween and kids across the borough are enjoying plenty of tricks, treats and costumes.

P.S. 93 in Soundview is among the schools going all out for the ghoulish day. Students and staff showed up in a variety of costumes, ready to go trick-or-treating from classroom to classroom and to march in a schoolyard parade.

Most people say they’re extra excited because Superstorm Sandy ruined Halloween last year, but the NYPD is reminding everyone that it's important to stay safe while having fun.

Police are offering several tips to help. They say adults should supervise kids while trick-or-treating, examine all candy and use non-toxic makeup.
