THE BRONX - The Department of Education will decide which of the city's public schools will be phased out, co-locate, or shut down during a vote at Brooklyn Technical High School.
News 12 The Bronx will have the result of the vote Tuesday morning.
The city's Panel for Educational Policy vote affects 19 Bronx schools. Seven of those schools may have to close their doors and the rest may be forced to share a building with several smaller schools.
At one point during the meeting, the rowdy crowd in attendance began to chant "shame on you" to the panelists and Chancellor Dennis Walcott.
