FORDHAM - The Paradise Theater will officially open its doors as a church this Saturday, bringing hundreds of parishioners to Fordham.

The World Changers Church signed a 25-year lease to occupy the theater on 186th Street.

Local business owners say they are excited about the influx of potential customers. Parishioners say that people come from far and wide to attend World Changes church services, which may bring more foot traffic and spending nearby.
