THE BRONX - Parents and residents say they were disappointed that schools chancellor Cathie Black did not address their concerns at a town hall meeting last night.

The meeting was held at Evander Childs High School. Parents say Black only stayed for about 30 minutes and covered various education topics. However, she did not talk about teacher layoffs, attendees said.

Black says she plans to hold several such meetings in the borough.
