THE BRONX - Students, parents and teachers boarded 15 buses in The Bronx and are now bound for Albany.

Educate NY Now gathered at Yankee Stadium before heading to the state capitol to fight for education funding.

Organizers say too much money has been cut under Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration.

They say they have worked hard in the past to get hundreds of millions of dollars dedicated to education, but that the new governor has halted progress.

Cuomo's last budget increased school aid by $805 million, but districts say that doesn't make up for what they have lost.
