Parents want P.S. 386 principal Angelyn Donald reinstated after arrest of teacher Anthony Criscuolo
THE BRONX - Parents at one Bronx elementary school are trying to get their principal reinstated following the arrest of a teacher.
P.S. 386 principal Angelyn Donald was fired after Anthony Criscuolo, a special education teacher at the school, was charged back in June for allegedly raping a 10-year-old student multiple times.
The Department of Education let Donald go for allegedly failing to report inappropriate behavior that students say they witnessed from Criscuolo.

The parents sent a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio and schools Chancellor Carmen Farina saying that education officials don't have enough evidence to support Donald's dismissal. They also claim that several students admitted to making up their stories to get the teacher fired.
