Parishioners at St. Joseph's Church are hoping to save their house of worship after its ceiling caved in.

Parishioners say the 140-year-old Bathgate Avenue church has had structural problems in the past. The Archdiocese of New York has been in the process of assessing the cost of repairs, which was estimated between $3 to $4 million before the ceiling collapse.
