Parkchester blood drive held in honor of 2012 murder victim Paris Thomas
THE BRONX - Bronx residents lined up today for a blood drive in honor of a young father of three who was murdered.
New York Blood Center and the parents of deceased Paris Thomas teamed up for the drive, which was held inside the Parkchester South Condominiums. Thomas was killed while visiting the mother of his children at the Murphy Houses back in November 2012.
Jamel Hunter was arrested and charged with second-degree murder among other things nearly a month after Thomas' shooting.
