THE BRONX - The computer system at the Parkchester post office is up and running again after a weeklong system failure.

Residents say they have had to travel nearly a mile to the Van Nest Post Office just to mail packages or obtain money orders. Many say they're frustrated because even after the system came back, they had to stand in line for an hour.

The United States Postal Service says it regrets any inconvenience the system failure may have caused its customers.
