Parkchester residents upset with lack of water after pipe break

THE BRONX - Dozens of Parkchester residents are upset over the lack of water after a water main burst yesterday in the parking lot of their apartment building.

Crews have been working since 7 a.m. to fix the water main break at Parkchester North, which flooded walkways in the area. Some tenants say they have been forced to deal with several outages over the past few months.

The management company says that an old pipe is to blame for the break, and crews expect everyone to have running water again by the end of today.
