THE BRONX - A local pastor is complaining that he's stuck in the middle of a messy situation involving his neighbors' yards.

According to William Caban, the backyards on both sides of his Briggs Avenue home in Kingsbridge are littered with trash and debris. He says he's not asking for summonses, but simply wants the neglected yards cleaned up.

Caban says he recently got a summons from the Health Department about mice droppings found near his garbage cans.

The city's Department of Finance says Doumbia Bazoumana owns one of the properties, which Caban says is now a home for squatters.

News 12 The Bronx reached out to the owner of the other propery, but the couple refused to talk about the issue.
