THE BRONX - Bronx residents say that they are fed up with the issues and long lines they encounter at one local post office.

The USPS’ Fordham branch consistently has long wait line and times and consumers say that they don’t receive many of their packages on time.

One customer, Nik Hajdari, took matters into his own hands and contacted the USPS on Twitter to complain about the location and he says that he has been waiting since early march until know trying to get packages.

"Our letter carriers can often gain access to deliver letters; however, at many locations throughout the Bronx, our drivers cannot access the same buildings. …. we must return those undeliverable packages to the Post Office ...and those customers must then travel en masse to the Post Office to retrieve their items, which can cause long lines.." says a spokesperson for the USPS.

The USPS says one way to solve the problem is to speak with your building’s management about getting a parcel locker installed in your building.

But many say that they don’t have problems with UPS or FedEx, just with the USPS.
