THE BRONX - A Bronx woman is determined to find her two missing cats after they were abandoned by a pet-sitter.

According to Jennifer Ingber, Tigger and Toose were left with Rafael Lugo, a good friend of her husband, while they went on vacation. She says she came home to find out that Lugo had discarded the felines in the trash behind his apartment.

Ingber says she now spends her days on Ellis Avenue going door-to-door asking if anyone has seen her pets.

Lugo has been charged with two counts of abandonment and faces up to two years behind bars. The ASPCA says a second person, Robert Ramos, has also been arrested for allegedly helping Lugo dump the cats.

Anyone with information about the location of the two cats can call the ASPCA at 877-843-2772.
