Piles of leftover snow, ice cover Bronx bus stops
THE BRONX - Mounds of leftover snow and ice is making it difficult, even impossible, for some Bronx commuters to get around.
Bus riders complain that most stops haven't been cleaned up, leaving them with no clear path from the sidewalk to the road to get on board.
The conditions are especially difficult for the elderly who aren't able to climb over the snow piles. Many are either forced to stay home or are walking around the block to wait for the bus in the middle of the street.
