Police: 1 injured in Mount Eden stabbing, attackers on the loose

THE BRONX - A man was repeatedly stabbed in the chest in Mount Eden Sunday night.

Police received a call just after 8:30 p.m. that a man was slashed and stabbed at the intersection of East 170th Street and Wythe Place.

Officials say the 29-year-old victim got into a dispute with two other men before he was slashed across the face and on the head. The two men proceeded to also stab him twice in the chest.

Police say the victim is in stable condition at Bronx Lebanon Hospital but the attackers are still on the loose.
