THE BRONX - Police say a 14-year-old boy was shot Friday afternoon in Morrisania.

The shooting occurred at around 1 p.m. in the middle of the 900­-block of Simpson Street. Police say the male suspect pulled out a gun, shot the teen in the left arm and ran off.

The boy was treated and released from Lincoln Hospital.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
