Police: 2 involved in assault near St. Raymond's H.S.

PARKCHESTER - Police are searching for two young men who are believed to be involved in an assault and robbery of a 78-year-old man on St. Raymond Avenue on July 18.

According to surveillance footage, the victim, Vincent Skyers, was approached from behind and punched in the face by two young men near St. Raymond High School around 4:30 p.m. that day. The suspects fled the scene when the victim fell to the ground, police say.

The man did not suffer any serious injuries.

Officials think that the suspects are between the ages of 17 and 20.

Police are asking anyone with any information to please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
