EAST TREMONT - Police are seeking at least two men who allegedly gunned down a teen near a Tremont playground in broad daylight Tuesday.

Stephon Hill, 19, was shot and killed near 754 East 181th St. just after 5 p.m., police say. 

Police say he got into a fight with a group of people who approached him. The altercation ended with gunfire. Hill was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Witnesses also say there were children present at the playground at the time of the slaying.

Police say the attackers may be gang members, and Hill has a criminal record of at least one arrest.
