Police: 3 suspects wanted in 2 separate phone robberies

Police are looking for three suspects wanted in two separate phone robberies in the Bronx. The robberies happened on Saint Paul Avenue and East Burnside

THE BRONX - Police are looking for three suspects wanted in two separate phone robberies in the Bronx.

Tyler Simmerman, 22, is wanted for allegedly assaulting and robbing an elderly man of his iPhone on Thursday. Police say the robbery happened just after 10:30 p.m. in front of 2033 Saint Paul Ave. The injured victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and remains in critical but stable condition.

Last Sunday, police say two suspects armed with a gun approached a 17-year-old in front of 270 East Burnside Ave. and stole his phone. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

Anyone with information on either of the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
