THE BRONX - Police say a 3-year-old was among two people shot on 180th Street on Friday.

Authorities say shots rang out at around 6 p.m. Residents near the scene say two men seemed to be arguing and that one of them suddenly pulled out a gun.

Police say three shots were fired, hitting one man in the leg and grazing the young boy in the arm.

Both victims were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to recover.
