Police: 3-year-old Ladavion Brooks found after allegedly being taken by his aunt

THE BRONX - Police have found the 3-year-old boy who was allegedly taken from his stroller by his aunt.

According to police, Ladavion Brooks was with his grandmother when he was kidnapped last night at around 5 p.m. in front of his home on Anderson Avenue. Authorities say his aunt, Geraldine Brooks, took the boy. He has since been recovered and is safely in police custody.

Police say 25-year-old Geraldine Brooks is still at large. Neighbors say Geraldine Brooks took Ladavion over a dispute in the family regarding who is most suited to take care of the child.
