THE BRONX - Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Sunday night.

It happened at 870 Freeman St. in Foxhurst just before midnight.

Police say the 41-year-old victim was shot in the stomach following an argument with another man. They say the suspect made his getaway after opening fire.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds and wearing a red sweatshirt at the time.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

It is unclear at this time what sparked the heated argument. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
