THE BRONX - An arrest has been made following the knifepoint robbery of a woman inside a homeless shelter.

Police arrested 30-year-old Cory Bolden on Saturday. At around 8 p.m. on March 3, police say Bolden and another suspect entered the residence at 1410 Grand Concourse in Mount Eden. Authorities say the suspects hit the victim and knocked her over before stealing cash, a cellphone and a PlayStation.

The 29-year-old victim told News 12 The Bronx that Bolden worked inside the building as a security guard.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Homeless Services, but has not yet confirmed if Bolden worked at the shelter.

Bolden was arraigned Monday morning. His bail was set at $30,000. He is due back in court on March 20.
