THE BRONX - Police have arrested the man that they believe robbed and attacked several elderly Bronx women over the past three weeks.

Tyrone Rosario, 40, an ex-con who previously spent time in prison for robbery and attempted robbery, was wanted in connection with six robberies of women between the ages of 65 and 81, according to police. The robberies occurred between April 23 and May 9 in Bedford Park and Fordham.

Officials say Rosario would talk to the victims, assault them and steal their valuables. He has been charged with one count of robbery. He has not been charged for the other five robberies.
